Water UK's Standards Board was formed in January 2006 to:

• own the Standards Programme and its long-term objectives;
• align the objectives with Water UK's policy and strategy;
• prepare and manage a plan to deliver the objectives;
  
• promote the benefits of the Programme to the Water Industry.
